About Samee Michelle
You, my friend, are a beautiful soul.
Samee Michelle is an indie romance author who lives in the midwest with her husband and children and hates writing author bios because she thinks talking about herself in the third person is f*cking weird.
When she isn’t working, she loves spending time reading and collecting books (because yes, those are two different hobbies). Audiobooks are her favorite because they allow her ADHD brain to process things differently and better understand than she would if she eyeball reads.

What the FAQ? (See what I did there?)
How did you get into writing?
When I was younger, I loved to write but time is a thief and I didn’t really start writing seriously until early 2023. I’d been reading romance for a few years and realized that I’d never read a love story quite like the one my husband & I share. So, I decided to write a duet inspired by our real life love story. My hope is that readers who didn’t get it right their first time around will relate to Callie & Owen’s story and know there’s still a chance for their very own Happily Ever After.
Do you use AI in any part of your creative process?
Absolutely the fuck not. I believe that everything from the outline to the words written to the covers, marketing materials, etc. should be created by real human artists. If you’re thinking about becoming an author but you’re worried that covers and editing costs will pile up, I can promise you that there are affordable resources out there. You just have to find them. Even though it can be toxic at times, Threads is a GREAT resource for finding real artists.
Who is your favorite author?
There are loads of authors I admire but my favorite romance author is definitely Brittanee Nicole. I’ve been reading her books for years and the way she continues to perfect her craft is inspiring to me. I want to be like her when I grow up… even though she might be younger than me.
Are signed copies available?
Yes! You can get signed copies of my books through my website. They might take a little longer to get to you than if you order directly from Amazon, but I try to throw in fun goodies with the purchases when I can.
